Correction and Retraction

Journal of Educational Change and Innovation is committed to maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of the scholarly record.

Corrections

Corrections will be issued when errors are identified in a published article that do not invalidate the research findings but may affect the clarity, accuracy, or interpretation of the work (e.g., typographical errors, author affiliation errors, or minor data inaccuracies).

A correction notice will be published and linked to the original article.

Retractions

Retractions will be issued in cases of serious ethical or scientific misconduct, including but not limited to:

  • Plagiarism

  • Data fabrication or falsification

  • Duplicate or redundant publication

  • Serious methodological errors that invalidate the findings

A retraction notice will clearly state the reason for retraction and will be linked to the retracted article. The original article will remain accessible but clearly marked as retracted to maintain the scholarly record.

Editorial Responsibility

The decision to issue a correction or retraction is made by the Editor-in-Chief in accordance with COPE guidelines, following a thorough investigation.
