Digitalisasi Administrasi Sekolah : Transformasi Sistem Informasi Manajemen Di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah dan Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

Digitization of school administration is an important step in improving the efficiency, quality, and effectiveness of schools in the digital era. Although there are challenges to be faced, the benefits of digitization can bring positive changes to the world of education. This study aims to identify in depth the development strategy and improve the quality of digitalization of educational administration through a study of the implementation of the School Management Information System (SIMSek) in several elementary schools and madrasahs. Using a qualitative research method with a descriptive method. This study found that the implementation of SIMSek in various schools such as MIN 12 Medan, MIS Al-Barkah, and SD Negeri 101765 showed positive impacts, such as work efficiency, ease of data access, and improved service quality. However, challenges such as the digital competency gap between generations, uneven infrastructure, and the need for continuous training and socialization are still obstacles that must be overcome. Therefore, a commitment from the community and other stakeholders is needed so that digitalization of administration can realize a national education transformation that is adaptive to the development of the times.
