DIGITALIZATION OF VILLAGE MUSRENBANG: A PARTICIPATORY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PLANNING STRATEGY IN THE 5.0 ERA

The digitalization of the Village Development Planning Forum (Musrenbang Desa) represents a strategic innovation to strengthen participatory governance in the era of Society 5.0. This transformation not only enhances planning efficiency but also expands public participation in a more transparent and inclusive manner. Through the use of digital information systems, the collection of aspirations, prioritization of programs, and monitoring of development can be conducted openly and integratively. Digitalization fosters collaborative leadership and empowers citizens as active agents of development rather than passive beneficiaries. Nevertheless, challenges remain, including limited digital infrastructure, low technological literacy, and the need for sustainable policy support. Therefore, strengthening human resource capacity, improving digital literacy, and fostering cross-sector collaboration are essential to ensure the success of Musrenbang Desa digitalization toward adaptive and equitable participatory economic development.
