Rural farmers in developing countries face persistent challenges in accessing lucrative markets and integrating into efficient value chains. This study explores various agribusiness models—cooperatives, contract farming, and digital platforms—that aim to bridge these gaps. Drawing on case studies from Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, and Southeast Asia, the research evaluates the effectiveness of these models in enhancing income, productivity, and sustainability for smallholders. Findings indicate that inclusive value chain integration, facilitated by supportive policy environments and technological innovations, significantly improves rural livelihoods. The study concludes with recommendations for scaling up successful agribusiness interventions.
